This course meets the new Illinois requirement for continuing education license renewal for 2026.

This course is designed to enhance knowledge and understanding of the importance of cultural competency and recognizing and respecting culture and diversity of clients in providing chiropractic care. Self-awareness and use of language that recognizes diversity and cultural differences will be explored. Cultural sensitivity and diversity as they are relevant and relate to chiropractic care will be briefly discussed.  Benefits of using concepts of cultural competency in providing care as well as barriers will be described.
