License Renewal OpenTriennial (3 years)

All licensed chiropractors will receive a email from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations (IDFPR) regarding renewal details.  It is the responsibility of the doctor to inform the IDFPR of any name, email, telephone, address, or mailing address changes. NOTICE: All license renewals must be completed online.  No paper renewal notifications are distributed.

RENEWAL OPEN DATE:  90 days prior to expiration (May 2, 2026)  Renewal MUST be completed by July 31, 2026.

LICENSE TERM:  3 years

CEU ATTESTING: Completion of all continuing educational requirements must be met at the time of attestation. No CEU will be accepted after the attestation date. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: All 150 CME hours must be completed on or before the day that an individual submits for license renewal. This includes all 5 of the states mandated courses.

Tips for Easy Renewal Use:

  • Print instructions contained on the renewal page for
  • Use the internet browser back key to return to a previous
  • No changes will be applied to your record unless your renewal has been
  • VISA, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted (Please note that no credit card information is retained by IDFPR). A convenience fee will be added to the cost of your license renewal for vendor processing
  • All fees are non-refundable
