The state of Illinois is currently and will continue to abide by the newly changed CDC guidelines regarding face coverings. The CDC guidelines allows those individuals who are fully vaccinated the ability to not have to wear a face covering (mask) in most public situations with a few exceptions.
“Health Care Facilities” have been excluded from the new CDC guidance and is listed as an exception. This means that chiropractic offices/clinics which are considered health care facilities are excluded from the new guidelines and must continue to wear protective face coverings. All physicians, staff and patients should still adhere to their same procedures (face coverings, social distancing, etc.) and Covid-19 protocol.
The IPSCA will continue to monitor the CDC and IDPH websites for updated resources, guidelines and rules related to Covid-19 changes.
